We are inviting all instrumental students and parents/guardians of instrumental students in grades 8-12 on our annual Spring Trip to Chicago, IL. Students will have the opportunity to tour all of the great sites of Chicago as well as participate in a master clinic and a tour of Vandercook College. They will get the opportunity to perform and work with professors and students of the college. This is an amazing opportunity for the kids in our Concert Band Program and I would really like everyone to take advantage of this. This type of learning absolutely cannot happen inside the walls of our classrooms.
Cost of this trip will be approximately 575.00-625.00 and will depend on the number of travelers Attached is the itinerary for you to review. It does include some meals as indicated on the itinerary. Students will need some money to purchase souvenirs and meals not covered.
We have fundraising available to assist with the cost in the form of Cinnamon Rolls coming in January and Gertrude Hawk Candy coming around the holidays. All of the proceeds from these fundraisers will directly benefit the individual student to offset this cost. The PPBA is also a 501C3 organization and if you know of any individual or business owner who would like to sponsor your child for this trip any contributions they make are tax deductible.
