Cavalcade of Bands NJ State Championship

Congratulations to Mr. V and the Jazz Ensemble for receiving an outstanding rating at the Cavalcade of Bands NJ State Chamionships held at Lakeside Middle School in Milville, NJ last night.  Alex Bierman recieved an honorable mention for the best soloist award.

Pitman HS Jazz Ensemble performs at Kingsway

The PHS Jazz ensemble under the direction of Phil Verespy was awarded an outstanding rating and Guy Williams recieved a solist award at the festival last night!  Congratulations to all of them!!!

Love Run March 29th

The bus for the Love run will leave PHS at 7:30 am.  We will be going to the Philadelphia Convention Center to assist with the distribution of race packets to the runners.  Everyone who participates will receive a free t-shirt and the band will get a check for 1000.00 if we get 40 people to participate.  Please make sure you attend if you are available.

Please check the files section for the Waiver form for all volunteers to fill out and bring with you that morning.

The Love Run Half Marathon is almost here! Here is your Official Volunteer Confirmation Schedule. Please read carefully as there is a lot of very important information. But first, thank you so much to you and your organization for volunteering. You play a very important role in the success of this event!
Please make sure that you SHARE this information and that all in your group are aware of these details.

A. Task - Attached you will find your individual and/or group task. Please confirm that:
-  Your number of volunteers is correct.
-  The dates and times are correct.
- Your group on-site captain's contact information is correct.
B. Volunteer Waiver - VERY IMPORTANT. Every person volunteering must sign this waiver (attached). Please fill out the waiver prior to arriving, bring it with you when you volunteer and give it to your CGI contact person on site. We send them out in advance because this saves valuable time on site. Every volunteer must sign an individual waiver as this is also the way we calculate your donation.
C. Volunteer Shift - your group donation is based on a minimum of 10 volunteers and each volunteer must work the full shift assigned in order to receive the donation. Split shifts are not permitted. The min. age to volunteer is 8, and at least one adult for every child between 8 and 15 years old is required, no exceptions! Please do not bring more volunteers than are confirmed. 
Please arrive a half hour before your actual volunteer time and give yourself/group plenty of time to get to the race site factoring in parking and time to get to your location. We recommend car-pooling whenever possible.
D. What To Wear/Bring:
-          Each volunteer will be given a volunteer t-shirt to wear while volunteering.
-          Comfortable shoes are suggested.
-          This is a rain or shine event so please dress appropriately for the weather.
-          Snacks & water will be available/given to each volunteer, but please feel free to bring your own snacks, food and beverages.
E. VERY, VERY IMPORTANT: If you cannot volunteer as originally planned please let me know ASAP as every person's role is crucial to the race's success.

Rowan Concert Band Festival

March 18th the concert band will be performing in the region 3 concert band festival held at Rowan University.  We will be taking a bus from the high school over in the morning and returning around 2:00.  

The band performs at 1:20pm in Pfleeger Concert Hall.
