Concessions Volunteers Needed for Thanksgiving Morning

On Thanksgiving morning, Pitman will be hosting the annual Pitman/Clayton football game at Davis Field.  The Pitman Band will be running concessions.  Clayton's band performs before the game (at 10:00 am) and our band performs at halftime.

We need approximately 12 parents so that concessions can run smoothly.  It is understood that this is a busy morning; however, please consider helping as best you can.

If you can volunteer that morning, please report to Davis Field at 8:30 am for setup.  Also, please email Heather Epting so she can plan accordingly.

End of Season Band Party

We are looking for a party planner to coordinate the end of Marching Band season party. It takes place the night of the Pitman Holiday Parade (Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 24th).  We use the VFW hall. The PPBA secretary sends out emails to parents requesting covered dishes/drinks/supplies and the volunteers to help at the party, and the party planner tracks the responses.  The party planner would also coordinate getting the hall decorated that evening (with the help of other parents).  We just need someone to oversee management of the party. We have LOTS of parents to donate food, etc., and to help out that night, but it really helps to have one person just coordinate it. Please email Marie Skinner at secretary@pitmanband.org if you would like to be the party planner.

Disney Trip

The 2013 Disney trip is A GO!! And, we still have seats available. Please email Mr. Carey if your band student (or anyone in your family) would like to go on this trip). The details and Intent Form are located in the files section. Please email Mr. Carey at scarey@pitman.k12.nj.us if you would like to participate in this trip.

Show Tickets/Wawa Coupons/T-Shirts

Sally Bierman will be in the PHS parking lot Saturday at 11:15 and between 5:30 and 6:30 selling tickets to the West Deptford competition ($10 adults/$7 students and seniors).  Remember, if you purchase your ticket from Sally before the show, the funds go to the PPBA and support our program.

Additionally, Sally will be selling the Autumn Thunder t-shirts and Wawa coupons. The Wawa coupons are good for a shorti sub at Wawa.  The coupon costs $4 with $1 from every coupon going directly to your child's student account.
